အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီး ဦးကိုကိုလှိုင် သည် အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ကြက်ခြေနီနှင့် လခြမ်းနီအသင်းများ ဖက်ဒရေးရှင်း (IFRC) ၏ အာရှပစိဖိတ် ဒေသဆိုင်ရာ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူး Mr. Alexander James Matheou အား ၂၆-၄-၂၀၂၃ ရက်၊ နံနက် (၁၁:၀၀) နာရီတွင် နေပြည်တော်ရှိ အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၌ လက်ခံတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ပါသည်။

ထိုသို့တွေ့ဆုံရာတွင် IFRC ၏ အာရှပစိဖိတ်ဒေသဆိုင်ရာ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးက IFRC ၏ လုပ်ငန်းသဘောသဘာဝ၊ IFRC နှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံကြက်ခြေနီအသင်း (MRCS) တို့အကြား ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိသည့် လုပ်ငန်းများနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ဆက်လက် ၍ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီးက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင်း လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှု အကူအညီများအတွက် ညှိနှိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပေးနေမှုများနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ပြန်လည်ဆွေးနွေး ပြောကြားခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation received Mr. Alexander James Matheou, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ (IFRC) Regional Director for Asia Pacific, at 11:00 hrs on 26 April 2023, at the Ministry of International Cooperation in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, the IFRC’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific updated on the nature of the work of IFRC and the collaboration between IFRC and the Myanmar Red Cross Society. Afterwards, the Union Minister discussed about the facilitation for the provision of humanitarian assistance in Myanmar.
